Signal Processing for Communications Lab, Dept. of ECE, IISc
I received the B. E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore in 2004, and the M. Tech. degree in Digital Electronics and Communication Engineering from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore in 2006, both from Visvesvaraya Techological University, Belgaum. From Jul 2006-Dec 2007, I worked as a lecturer at P. E. S. Institute of Technology, Bangalore. In Jan 2008, I am working towards my Ph.D. at the Signal Processing for Communications Laboratory, at the Electrical Communication Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under the supervision of Prof. Chandra R. Murthy.
My research interests are in the area of detection and estimation theory, information theory and statistics and cross-layer optimization as applied to spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks.
