I am a (direct) Ph.D. student at the Dept. of ECE, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India. My advisor is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ece.iisc.ac.in\/~cmurthy\">Prof. Chandra R. Murthy.<\/a> My current research focus is on beyond 5G\/6G communications.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Biography<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Niladri Halder (Graduate student member, IEEE) obtained his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2021. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Chandra Murthy at the Dept. of ECE, IISc Bangalore, India, with a focus on the design and analysis of <span class=\"C9DxTc \">advanced modulation schemes for beyond 5G\/6G<\/span>. His broad areas of research interests lie in signal processing and its applications to communication systems. He is a recipient of the Prime Minister&#8217;s Research Fellowship (PMRF), Govt. of India in 2023. My current research focus is on waveform design for beyond 5G\/6G.
