Organized by IEEE-IISc Communication Society and IEEE-IISc Student Branch in association with the IndiQ community

This workshop aims to introduce attendees to various aspects of quantum computing and communications.
The workshop spans 3 days and consists of 5 lectures, 3 tutorial sessions and 1 public talk to conclude the workshop. During the workshop, attendees will be provided problem sets to solve and coding tasks to attempt.

Workshop dates: September 3rd, 4th, and 5th 2021.

All attendees would receive a certificate of participation after the workshop, however we encourage attendees to solve problem sets, form teams and submit projects.

Problem sets, certification and projects

Problem sets:
Attendees will be provided a problem set at the end of Day 1 and Day 2, consisting of theoretical and coding problems. Attendees are encouraged to attempt these on their own. Some problems of the Day 1 problem set will be discussed in tutorial 2.

Certificates:
Workshop participants are required to attend all lectures to receive a certificate of participation. However, attending the tutorials or solving the problem sets are not required to obtain certificates.
Digital participation certificates will be sent to the registered mail IDs after the event.

Projects:
After Day 2 of the workshop, attendees are encouraged to form teams and work on any related project for a week till 12th September 11:59PM. It may be contributing to an existing project, a new project, a new project proposal/idea, a review/presentation/blog post on topics related to that covered in the workshop. Good projects may be featured on our website and social media handles and detailed proposals with potential will be sent to potential collaborators for you to work/intern with.

Participants are not required to submit projects for certificates.
