Bio
Aditya Gopalan was born in Mumbai, India, and received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2006. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. He was awarded the 2012 Andrew and Erna Viterbi Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel, and the INSPIRE Faculty Award by the Dept. of Science and Technology, Government of India, in 2014. His research interests include communication networks, learning and control, and performance analysis.
