IISc ECE Predoc Fellowship

We accept applications four times in a year. Shortlisted candidates will be informed on a rolling basis.

What does a Predoc Fellow do?

Predoc fellows spend one year at the ECE department, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. During their fellowship they will work closely with the ECE faculty and researchers on cutting-edge problems in the areas of deep learning, signal processing, wireless communications, photonics, quantum technology, circuits, devices, or systems. Candidates can pick their areas of interest. Predoc fellows conduct research research towards publications, patents, or prototypes. This fellowship program is well-suited for candidates with a strong interest in pursuing a PhD and explore a career in research.

Eligibility

Candidates should been soon completing or should have completed BE/BTech or MS/ME/MTech in ECE, Computer Science or related areas. Candidates should have a GPA of 7.5 and above. To be eligible, you have to apply within two years of your BE/BTech or MS/ME/MTech degree. We evaluate candidates based on their academic performance, proven ability of research, and programming skills. So be sure to tell us why you are suited for this program in your application.
