Personal Life and Education:

  • Dr. Dinesh K. Anvekar is a distinguished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in research, innovation, and teaching.He secured first rank and a state award in 1979 for achieving the highest marks in Electronics among all engineering universities in Karnataka.
  • B.E. in Electronics, Bangalore University, July 1979
  • M.E. in Automation, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore,Sept 1981
  • Ph.D. in Microelectronics, IISc, Bangalore in 1990 and was awarded the Best Thesis Award.
Career:

He joined as a Scientific Officer at the ECE department, IISc in 1982 and served in that role until 1987, after which he became a Senior Scientific Officer (SSO) from 1987 to 1990. He was then promoted to Senior Scientific Officer (Selection Grade) on 10 March 1990 and continued in that position until 1996. On 16 March 1996, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor.
