Biography:
Personal Life & Education:
Dr. Ghare received his Ph.D. from Pune University in 1967.
He worked as Asst. Engineer in Semiconductors Ltd, Pune(1967-1968), Senior Research Fellow, N.C.L, Pune (1967), Junior Research Fellow , N.C.L, Pune (1963-1967).
He joined as at ECE department, IISc as a Research Associate (1968-1970). His career thn progressed to Senior Scientific Officer (1970-1985) and then retired as Principal Research Scientist in 2005.
Research Area:
• Micro- Nano Electronics technology
• BANC based Nano robotics for Biomedical and
other applications
• Micro- nanoelectronic transducers and Sensors
•MPPPHT(Microprocessor Programmed Peiodic Pulsed Heating Technique) based sensor technology
•Thick/ thin film hybrid microelectronics materials technology and devices
•Composite materials for design of electronics devices.
Awards and recognitions/ Positions held:
• Best Paper Award and Gold medal for the paper " Increasing Creapage Distance of High Voltage Insulators by Composite Designing " by Central Board of Irrigation and Power, 1997.
