Biography
Singra Iyengar obtained a Diploma in Radio Engineering in 1961 from the Board of Technical Education, Government of Mysore. He began his career in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) as a Laboratory Assistant from 17/10/1963 to 16/09/1964. He then served as a Junior Scientific Assistant from 16/09/1964 to 22/03/1973, followed by his role as Technical Assistant (SSA) from 22/03/1973 to 29/09/1979. Subsequently, he was promoted to Scientific Officer, a position he held from 29/09/1979 until his retirement on 31/07/1995.

He was in charge of the Radio Laboratory, where most of the practical sessions for the BE program were conducted. His responsibilities included PCB making, issue and maintenance of stores, assisting visitors, stock verification, maintaining departmental amenities, and handling audio-visual systems in the faculty hall.
