Biography:
Professor Vinod Sharma is a distinguished academic in the field of Electrical and Communication Engineering (ECE). He has made significant contributions to communication networks, wireless mobile networks, queuing theory, estimation theory, and information theory.

Educational Background:
• 1978: B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
• 1984: Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

Professional Experience:
• 1988–2022: Faculty Member, Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, IISc Bengaluru.
• 2007–2011: Chairman, Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, IISc.
• 2021–2022: Dean, Faculty of Engineering, IISc.
• 2022–Present: Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Delhi–NCR.
