Big cell - small cell problem
If we are going with this problem, we need to decide on the fairness metric:
- MaxMin
- Proportional
- Spectrum capacity Hz(sqm)
Sampling problem
- Building spectrum utilization map
- Real-time spectrum utilization report using clients?
Action Items
- Check if WARP board has sub-GHz radio daughterboards. Done, doesn't have.
- Check if USRP has ever been used in a reasonably large testbed setting (specifically check multiple transmitters transmitting to one receiver scenario). Done, doesn't seem to be there.
- Find out if we (IISc) can order the Lyrtech board directly from US/Canada. Yes, we can.
- Check if USRP can sense TV bands at -114 dBm.
