NCC 2019 GRADUATE STUDENT DAY WORKSHOP


CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The NCC 2019 Graduate Student Day workshop will be held at IISc Bangalore, India, as a part of NCC 2019. It will be a forum for PhD students to showcase their work in the areas of communication, networking and signal processing. The presenters will benefit from lively discussions and critical feedback on their work. We, hereby, request PhD advisors to nominate their PhD students who are close to graduation to submit abstracts to this workshop.

How to nominate: PhD advisors can nominate PhD students by mailing their names to gsd.ncc2019@gmail.com.


ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Each nominated PhD student needs to submit a two-page abstract and the list of his/her publications. The abstract should contain the motivation for the research problem, prior work, the solution approach and analytical or empirical results. The abstract should use the same template as used for the conference. The abstract and the list of publications must be submitted as a single PDF document. ABSTRACT REVIEW

The abstracts will undergo a review process. The selected Students will present their work in the NCC 2019 Graduate Student Day workshop.


BEST PRESENTATION PRIZES

Based on feedback from an expert committee during the workshop, best presentation and runner-up awards will be conferred.
