While applying for a Visa, you may need to attach with your visa application an official invitation letter from the conference organizers. If you need such an invitation, please send an email to 2018spcom@gmail.com with the following information:
Please check with your nearest Indian consulate/embassy for information that may be specific to your country of residence. The visa application process should be quite straightforward in most cases. However, we strongly urge you to please apply for your visa at least six weeks in advance of your travel dates.
Foreigners applying for the conference visa will need to attach these approvals in order to obtain the visa
[Information regarding visa requirements] : Provides information that consulates are authorized to issue visas against an invitation from the organizers of a conference conducted by a publicly funded university, which IISc is. Therefore, although we have obtained the clearances, they are actually not needed for obtaining a visa!
