In the past Bala has served as a Whole-Time Director of Infosys Ltd. and has also served as the Chairman of the Board at Infosys BPO Limited and Chairman of Infosys Lodestone. He played a key role in Infosys's Indian IPO in 1993 and the company's first overseas listing in 1999. He has been a recipient of the "Best CFO" award from CNBC and Finance Asia and is also on the board of several start-up companies. Bio: Srinivasan 'Vasan' Subramanian is the Chief Tehcnology Officer (CTO) at Accel Partners, a leading early and growth-stage venture capital firm, powering a global community of entrepreneurs. At Accel, Vasan's charter is to mentor startups in technology areas, with a special focus on best practices in web-technologies and scaling. Vasan is a technologist who has had a long career building software products. He has worked in a few startups himself prior to Accel. He was the co-founder and CTO at Insta Health Solutions, where he headed the development of a SaaS based HMS for customers in India, Gulf and Africa. Before founding Insta Health Solutions, Vasan was the engineering head of Net Continuum, a Bay Area based startup which built one of the first Web Application Firewalls in the industry. Net Continuum was acquired by Barracuda Networks in 2007. He has also worked at Corel Corporation, Wipro Technologies and TVS Technologies (Bangalore). Bio: Kumar N. Sivarajan is the Chief Technology Officer at Tejas Networks, a pioneering telecom product company from India that designs, develops and manufactures advanced fiber-optic transmission and broadband access products. Prior to Tejas Networks, Kumar was an Associate Professor in the Electrical Communication Engineering Department, at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Earlier he has worked with the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, New York. Kumar is a co-author of the popular textbook 'Optical Networks: A Practical Perspective' first published in February 1998 and currently in its third edition. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, an Associate of the Indian Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Swarnajayanti Fellowship from the Department of Science & Technology. He is also a recipient of the IEEE Fortescue Fellowship and the IEEE Baker Prize Paper Award. Besides his role at Tejas, Kumar is also the Chairman of India''s Telecom Standards Development Organization, TSDSI.
