Murthy S is currently employed as an Application Engineer (RF and Wireless) at VVDN Technologies in Bangalore, where he specializes in providing comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales support for RF solutions and Test & Measurement solutions. With over three years of expertise in wireless communication, Murthy’s proficiency spans from prototyping to designing and testing advanced systems like 5G & mmWave, and 6G. Murthy holds a B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and further pursued his academic journey with an M. Tech in VLSI System Design from M S Ramaiah University, Bangalore, India.
Abstract: As the evaluation beyond 5G and beyond continues, academic and industry researchers are already working to define 6G, the next generation cellular standard. 6G research into promising enabling technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, sub-THz frequencies, MIMO, and RADAR sensing is under way. NI’s 5G and 6G solutions enable researchers to quickly move from mathematical models to over-the-air testbeds, going beyond simulation to real-world applications. Through integration of hardware and software, NI provides flexible solutions for engineers to rapidly prototype and deploy real-time wireless communications systems. Testbeds offer the ability to evaluate how new technologies will perform under realistic conditions and their potential for increasing network performance and enabling new services.
