The 2024 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communications (SPCOM) provides a forum
for
researchers from
academia, research laboratories, and industry to come
together to share and learn about current developments in
these emerging fields. SPCOM 2024 is the fifteenth in a
series of biennial events that have been organized since
1990 at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
The conference venue is the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering (ECE), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India.
On behalf of the organising committee, we welcome you to the 15th edition of the International Conference on Signal Processing and Communications (SPCOM) at the Indian Institute of Science from July 1-4, 2024. The first conference in the series was held in 1990, and the conference is now organised every alternate year since 2010.
This time, we have an exciting technical program consisting of 3 plenaries, 5 tutorials, 20 invited talks, and around 75 contributed papers. One of the unique features of SPCOM has been the large number of invited expert speakers. We have six such invited sessions featuring distinguished speakers in the broad areas of communications, networking, information theory, signal processing, and machine learning. SPCOM will also feature a panel discussion on the role of AI-driven innovations in signal processing and communication.
Organizing such a large conference was only possible with the support of the entire organising committee, which consists of the technical program chairs, tutorial and plenary chairs, finance chair, publicity, publication and web chairs, and the local arrangement chairs. We also thank IISc's student volunteers and the ECE department's technical assistants and staff for taking care of every minor organisational detail. We acknowledge the support of anonymous reviewers who helped review and select an excellent set of contributed papers.
We express our special thanks to the technical co-sponsors of the conference, IEEE SPS and ComSoc Bangalore Chapters, for their spontaneous and consistent support in putting together the conference. We also thank all the financial sponsors of the conference for their generous support. IISc has been a pillar of institutional and financial support to SPCOM 2024.
We hope you have a productive and enjoyable SPCOM 2024!
