Research activities in applied photonics labs spans in the areas of Integrated optics – application to WDM optical networks and microsensor sytems; photonic bandgap structures, MOEMS, Integrated optic devices and characterization; Fiberbragg grating Sensors, WDM Optical Netowrks; Spatio-temporal codes for fiber-optic CDMA networks, Microsensor technology; biomedical applications.
